An intriguing optical illusion that can be used to teach properties and characteristics, with regards to both color and size. Also perfect if you teach Sensation and Perception and a great addition to your Science Cave. Two differently colored “boomerangs” are shown. When laid out on the table, the upper boomerang is obviously shorter than the one below. Then the smaller one is magically “stretched” and shown to be longer. Finally, both are shown to be exactly the same!
